Giant God Warrior Appears Over Tokyo // Studio Ghibli

Awesome short that has been showing before Evangelion 3.0 in theaters. A collaboration with Studio Ghibli and an obvious nod to the giant Fire Warriors from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.

Here is a rough translation (by my little brother) of the text as the other warriors arrive.

On the first day, men and things living there were destroyed

On the second day, living things all across the world die

On the third day, the sun and moon are put out causing day and night to disappear

On the fourth day, the land sinks and all becomes water

The fifth is harder…maybe the water and sky blend
It progressively gets harder.

The sixth days looks like the light it put out and all becomes wrapped in darkness and confusion

On the 7th day catastrophe ends work and in the surprise moment of reponse we cry quietly.
